J.H. Eggleston Birth: Family Information: He arrived at the colony in March 1929 with his wife, daughter Pauline Eggleston, and two sons. Description: Pre-Colony History: In December 1928 he was a new subscriber to the "Llano Colonist" along with Bert Bertino, Prof. W.D. Laurie, C.P. Allred, G. C. Campbell and Lester Caves -- all from Texas. Home in Colony: Dick Brannon gave the Eggleston family rooms in the hospital when they arrived -- there were no patients and there was no other place that afforded them better accommodation. Job in Colony: He joined the garden crew at once after arriving in the colony.
