Frank M. Nelson

Birth: He was born in 1904 at Oregon.  

Family Information: Brother of Carl and Howard Nelson.  

Description: His draft registration card dated February 16, 1942 described him as weight 175 pounds, height 5'8", with a light complexion, blue eyes and blond hair.  

Pre-Colony History:  

Home in Colony: In the 1930 US Census is listed as a lodger with the Leroy Graves family.  

Job in Colony: In 1930 he was working in the sawmill in the colony.  

Other Info:  

Post-Colony History: In 1935 he and his mother, Lura Nelson, were living in Elton, Louisiana; in 1940 both were living in Eureka, California.

In 1942 he was living in Velle Jo, California when he registered for the draft. He served in the U.S. Navy from October 1942 through June 1945.  

Death: He died in 1989 at Sacramento, California and was buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Diamond Springs, California.
