Mabel (Synoground) Beavers Birth: She was born at Fresno, California in 1910. Family Information:
Daughter of Ole and Lillie Synoground. Description: Pre-Colony History: She arrived, with her parents and siblings, at the colony in 1918 and was one of the members of the colony when George T. Pickett was first named General Manager. Home in Colony: Job in Colony:
In April 1922 she was part of a group of students who helped out at the kindergarten that included Rosa Matz, Ruby Synoground, Laura Merrill, Nellie Kemp, Vinita Thurman and Mabel Synoground. Other Info: Post-Colony History:
In 1930 she was living in Chicago with her husband and daughter, brother Clifford Synoground family, brother-in-law Max Beavers, and Clarence Shutt. Death: She died in January 2005 at her home in Leesville, LA and was buried at the Leesville Cemetery.
