Birth: He was born in 1902 in Louisiana.  

Family Information: Married to Thelma Perkins.

Father of Betty and Margie Lee Perkins.  

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: In 1910 and 1920 he was living with his parents and siblings in Police Jury Ward 4 of Vernon Parish, Louisiana.

In 1930 he and Thelma were living in Vernon Parish, Louisiana where he worked as a laborer in a lumber mill.  

Home in Colony: In December 1932 those living at the Isle of Cuba Plantation (near Thibodeaux, LA) included: Sam Hall, Harry Morgan, Henry and Bennie Frahm, Beldon Lewis, F. Gossett, John Horney, Roy McLean, Mrs. Swilley and Mr. and Mrs. Perkins with their four children.

By the end of the month, the group had added Mrs. Gossett, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shipman, Albert Wicks, Dolly McCullough, Jim Nash, Earl Swenson and Ranny Wells.

Job in Colony: In September 1928 he and Septer Baldwin traveled to the Isle of Cuba unit in Terrebonne Parish (near Thibodeaux, LA) so he could set up his shoe shop. In December 1932 he was listed as one of the Isle of Cuba workers.

Post-Colony History: In 1940 he was living in Vernon Parish, Louisiana with his second wife and her children while he worked as a laborer on a WPA road construction project.  

Death: He died in 1971 and was buried at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, Louisiana.
