Pre-Colony History: She came to the colony in March 1929 from Fargo, Oklahoma.

Job in Colony: She was a violinist and art teacher.  

Other Info: In 1929 she was often part of the program at the theater and was a senior member of the Glee Club. In April of 1929 she sang second soprano as a member of the Senior Glee Club along with Ruth Shoemaker, Beatrice Jensen, Ruth Kingsbury and Florence Aiton; first sopranos included: Kathleen Bridwell, Zelma De Fausell, Hope Shoemaker and Jennie Black; and alto was sung by: Gertrude Maki, Laura Synoground, Allie Belle Hewitt, Bonnie Enfield and Lois Brattland.

In April of that year she was reported to be taking full advantage of Guy Lockwood's presence in the colony to improve her art.
